~~ CONNECT ~ ReCONNECT ~~

• If you used to go to church and were Connected there -- or if you have never gone to church and never connected to a church, but in either case you would like to Connect or ReConnect with like-minded, warm-hearted, open-minded people, Palm Springs Presbyterian Church stands ready to welcome you.

• Here is a congregation re-established in 1988 and presently searching for a new pastor with a membership of about 100 active, inquisitive, worshipping, fellowshipping members who love the Lord and seek to grow in his "Grace and Knowledge." If this catches your attention then this is a good church with which to CONNECT or ReCONNECT! We are not "young" chronologically, but are definitely young in spirit, adventure, and mission in Jesus' name. We are a praying congregation that supports those within our church but also those within the community and world around us.

• We are Christ-centered, mission-minded, praying, supportive, and having a good time congregation, which also loves good food!

• We are a congregation with a blend of traditional, contemporary, and relaxed style of worship where Jesus Christ is at the center.

Bill_pic-201x168 As the Interim Pastor I am delighted to have you look us up and read about us.

Thank you,

Rev. Dr. Bill Johnson

Worship Schedule and Sermons for March-April, 2010
We are now deeply walking with our Lord toward Easter;  Lent began in February and continues through March until we celebrate the Resurrection/Easter on April 4th.   And what a celebration that will be.  For PSPC March will include celebrating our First Year in "A Place of Our Own," but it will be much more: it will be  celebrating and sharing the Good News of God's grace, mercy, love and eternal promise/guarantee of his presence with us and all of his creation.   With more and more talk by some of the impending collapse of the middle east and the end of the world in 2012 according to the Mayan Calendar, we, as  we walk with Christ, have  more than  just hope, we have confidence of the presence of God.   So, spend time reading these scripture passages; invite and bring unchurched or barely churched friends giving them substance for a concrete conviction of the presence of God in our lives and in theirs.
